Reflective is a non-profit research organization aiming to radically accelerate the pace of sunlight reflection research. They are aggregating the data and creating the tools needed to make informed decisions about sunlight reflection.
And—Now: Logo design
Brand
The client requested a clean, editorial feel during the discovery phase.
We focused on finding a beautiful, approachable serif for the headers, which we knew would be a large visual component of the site to achieve the desired look-and-feel. I loved the chosen condensed headline font Gambarino for its teardrop terminals and drastic line weight variety.
Collage
The collages incorporate wind line patterns provided by the client, layered with a landscape image. It was established early on that any photography used needed to have wind affecting the landscape in some way.

While working on the overall brand and website, the Reflective principles iconography went through a few iterations (both in style and subject matter).

I worked together with Talia Bromberg on the web design. Since the website is heavily information- and tools-driven, special attention was given to typographical hierarchy, whitespace, and margins. The collage illustrations were reserved for certain page heroes, while others pages were purely utilitarian.
