Avalo is pushing agricultural innovation forward. Using AI they advance natural crop evolution by identifying key genes of interest. They are harnessing evolution to create climate change-resistant crops, helping guarantee humanity’s future food supply.

Brand Identity
The client wanted a unique palette for the agricultural space, while still using colors that made sense in context. Additionally, the client was excited about using a collage illustration style, and using a serif font.

Inspired by the website content written by Shannia Coley, I created many context-dependent collage illustrations (both used on the website and in pitch decks).
Illustration
To create the brand’s collage spot illustrations and iconography, I sourced public domain illustrations, botanical drawings, and photography. I then married these color-edited pieces with simple vector lineart that echos the line version of the logomark.
